RankTracker provides 2 mains sources to collect SEO/PPC data from Google Ads:
SEO PowerSuite Index is the fastest and safest way to collect search volume and keyword suggestions from Google Keyword Planner. This method is set by default in all new RankTracker projects, so it does not require any additional configurations to be enabled.
However, some old projects might still be using your personal Google Ads account, so to switch into using SEO PowerSuite keyword Index do the following:
In some cases, you may want to collect search volume stats via your personal paid Google Ads account. To be able to connect it to RankTracker follow these steps:
Note that Google AdWords account is a project-specific setting. You can connect different accounts to each project individually or have one account duplicated across projects in other SEO PowerSuite tools by enabling synchronization of settings.
Once you connect your Google Keyword Planner account you may update SEO/PPC-factors as follows: go to Rank Tracking > Tracked Keywords section and click Update SEO/PPC Data.
In the dialog box will you can specify the number of keywords you wish to update and also select the exact factors to be updated.
Alternatively, you may update the same SEO/PPC factors under the Keyword Map section.
